About Me

  • he/him/his

Hau Mitakuyepi, Cante Waste Nape Ciyuzapelo. (Hello my relative, I greet you with a warm heart and handshake). I am Mnicoujou - Lakota, and am a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. I come from the Tin Cup, Spotted Bear, and Yellow Hawk families. As a therapist I specialize in providing culturally responsive mental health care for Indigenous folks. I work well with athletes, and individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I believe each client is sacred and understand that it is imperative to personalize services for each individual to ensure their success.

My Approach

Currently, I am only accepting clients online via tele-health.

My primary goal as a therapist is to focus on improving your emotional wellbeing during the therapy session. We will navigate this journey together through psycho-education, skill-building and through the use of best treatment modalities that fit your life's story. My personal approach to therapy is collaborative, empathetic, with a sprinkle of dry humor.

Please do not hesitate in contacting me if you are interested in exploring services provided by Tin Cup Counseling & Consultation.

I would love to learn more about you, your concerns, and your goals to see if we are a good fit to work together.

I offer free 15-minute consultations.
