Tin Cup Counseling & Consultation PLLC was founded in 2023 in honor of my paternal grandmother - Millie Tin Cup. Millie was a full-blooded Mnicoujou - Lakota woman from the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe near present day La Plant, South Dakota. Millie was a kind hearted woman with her own mental health struggles, including addictions, who unfortunately passed away at the young age of 36 years old. Millie’s homicide has left more questions for our family than answers. Millie is a Missing Murdered Indigenous Woman.
Tin Cup Counseling & Consultation is an Indigenous owned company providing culturally responsive services to a diverse population of people regardless of race, ethnicity, cultural background, language proficiency, literacy, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or socioeconomic status.
